OKTO Payments launches AI-driven Agentic Pix and OKTO Empresas in Brazil
The new services let customers confirm Pix payments inside an AI conversation and let businesses automate account opening and Pix-key creation through an API.

OKTO Payments launched Agentic Pix and OKTO Empresas in Brazil on October 19, extending its payments platform into conversational consumer payments and automated business onboarding.
Agentic Pix is designed to let an AI assistant assemble a payment request and create a Pix charge inside a chat or other conversational channel. The customer confirms the transaction through biometrics using OKTO’s Biometric Pix rail, according to the company.
OKTO Empresas is aimed at businesses and automates account opening and Pix-key creation through OKTO’s API. The pitch is to remove manual steps from onboarding, though identity checks, fraud controls and regulatory obligations still have to be satisfied behind the API experience.
The launch does not make every AI-generated payment self-executing: the described flow includes customer confirmation. OKTO did not disclose transaction-volume forecasts, pricing or a universal rollout outside Brazil in the announcement.
