Tech Mahindra acquires Finastra’s cash-management and virtual-accounts suite
The deal brings Fusion Cash Management, Fusion Virtual Accounts and Fusion Liquidity Management into Tech Mahindra’s BFSI portfolio; financial terms were not disclosed.

Tech Mahindra announced October 23 that it had acquired Finastra’s cash-management product suite. The transaction includes Fusion Cash Management, Fusion Virtual Accounts and Fusion Liquidity Management, along with related intellectual property and capabilities such as CashPlus, APIs and cash-flow forecasting.
The products will be integrated into Tech Mahindra’s Banking, Financial Services and Insurance solutions portfolio. Tech Mahindra said existing customers will retain platform access and support, while relevant product-engineering and customer-success staff transition to the company.
Cash-management software sits behind corporate balances, collections, payments, liquidity visibility and account structures. The acquisition could give Tech Mahindra a broader product base for bank and enterprise implementations, but customers will still need clarity on product road maps, support ownership, data migration and integration responsibilities.
Financial terms were not disclosed. The announcement describes an asset and capability acquisition, not a forecast of revenue synergies, customer savings or a guaranteed timetable for product changes.
