Takenos announced November 5 that it secured a $7 million seed extension to expand its stablecoin finance platform.

Takenos said the funding will support expansion into more than 15 countries by 2027. Its platform is aimed at businesses and individuals that need financial accounts, transfers and dollar-linked balances across markets where conventional cross-border banking can be slow or expensive.

The geographic target is an expansion plan, not a statement that every market is already live. Availability will depend on licensing, local partners, identity checks, sanctions screening, liquidity and the terms governing each account and stablecoin rail.

Takenos did not disclose a post-money valuation, customer count or audited performance data with the funding announcement. Customers should compare fees, conversion spreads, custody, redemption and dispute procedures before treating a stablecoin account as an operating-bank substitute.
