Predicate announced October 27 that it raised an $8 million Series A led by Blockchain Capital. Paxos, 1kx and Tribe Capital also participated, according to the company.

Predicate provides an end-to-end compliance and control platform designed to let financial institutions embed programmable legal, security and commercial policies into onchain assets and financial products. The company said the round brings total capital raised to $15 million.

Programmable controls can make restrictions more explicit at the transaction layer, but they are not a substitute for a firm’s broader compliance program. Institutions still need governance, identity controls, monitoring, legal review and processes for exceptions or policy changes.

Predicate did not disclose a detailed deployment timetable, customer count or revenue figures. The financing announcement describes the platform’s intended use, not a guarantee that every tokenized asset or jurisdiction can be supported.
