OnePay announced a partnership with Stripe to let select U.S. users convert USDC into U.S. dollars directly within eligible OnePay checking accounts.

The feature uses Stripe’s Bridge infrastructure for the stablecoin-to-dollar conversion. OnePay said the rollout is intended to give users a simpler path from digital-dollar balances to funds usable through a conventional checking account.

Stablecoin deposits can shorten the distance between crypto wallets and everyday money movement, but availability depends on user eligibility, supported networks, compliance checks, conversion timing and the terms governing the checking account. A stablecoin balance is not identical to a bank deposit before conversion.

The companies described the initial service as available to select U.S. users. They did not establish universal availability, a guaranteed conversion time, fee treatment for every transaction or a forecast for adoption.
