Cognitive Credit announced October 22 that it had received a $40 million strategic growth investment led by Summit Partners, with continued participation from ETFS Capital.

The company provides corporate-credit data, analytics and workflow tools for asset managers, investment banks and other institutional users. Cognitive Credit said its platform covers more than 3,500 corporate bond and loan issuers, a company-reported figure.

The funding is intended to support global expansion, particularly in the United States, and new products including DealConnect and agentic credit analysis. AI-assisted credit work can reduce manual document and data tasks, but institutional users still need audit trails, source validation and human review for investment decisions.

The companies did not disclose a post-money valuation, revenue forecast or a detailed spending schedule. The $40 million figure is the announced investment amount, not a measure of product adoption or future performance.
