C2FO and Ripple partner on instant trade-finance settlement through the XRP Ledger
C2FO Instant Pay will use Ripple USD on the XRP Ledger to support faster settlement for participating suppliers, with the service initially offered through a waitlist.

C2FO and Ripple announced October 27 that they are partnering to integrate C2FO Instant Pay with the XRP Ledger and Ripple USD, or RLUSD.
C2FO Instant Pay lets suppliers receive early payment on eligible invoices rather than waiting for the buyer’s standard payment term. The announced integration is intended to use RLUSD and the XRP Ledger to settle participating trade-finance transactions more quickly than traditional bank settlement cycles.
Faster settlement can matter to suppliers managing working capital, but a digital settlement rail does not remove eligibility rules, financing costs, buyer payment risk, foreign-exchange exposure, compliance checks or the need to reconcile invoices and funds. The practical benefit will depend on the corridors and counterparties supported.
C2FO said interested businesses can join a waitlist. The companies did not disclose transaction-volume forecasts, pricing or a universal launch date, so the partnership should not be read as immediate availability for every supplier or market.
