Brazilian fintech Bloquo announced November 3 that it raised $3.7 million in seed funding to build stablecoin-based cross-border payment infrastructure for enterprises.

Bloquo is targeting businesses that need to move value across jurisdictions while connecting digital settlement with local banking and payment rails. The company said the financing will support product development and expansion of its enterprise payments offering.

Stablecoins can provide a common settlement asset, but enterprise adoption still depends on regulated issuance, redemption, liquidity, identity checks, sanctions screening and reliable local payout partners. Those operational links determine whether a faster blockchain transfer becomes a useful business payment.

The company did not disclose a valuation, customer count, transaction volume or detailed launch timetable. The seed round is financing for product development, not evidence of universal availability or guaranteed savings for enterprise users.
