HL Hunt Pay ships AI agents to fight your chargebacks and chase your late invoices
The live payment-processing platform pairs 0.8-second authorizations and same-day settlement with seven always-on AI agents and a self-published comparison table against Stripe and Square.

HL Hunt Financial's AI Payment Processing product, branded HL Hunt Pay, is a live merchant payments platform — distinct from several other HL Hunt products still in waitlist mode — built around a pitch of speed, breadth of payment methods, and a bench of AI agents handling the operational work merchants usually do by hand.
The company states transactions authorize in 0.8 seconds and settle the same day, and that the platform accepts 135-plus payment methods and 150-plus currencies with real-time foreign-exchange conversion and, on its stated terms, no FX markup. Beyond card and wallet payments, HL Hunt lists ACH and bank transfers, tap-to-pay via NFC, phone and mail-order virtual terminal entry, no-code payment links, email-to-pay requests, and hosted, embedded or fully custom API-based checkout as supported acceptance channels.
The centerpiece of the pitch is a set of seven named AI agents HL Hunt says run continuously on a merchant's account: a Dispute Agent that compiles chargeback evidence and drafts card-network rebuttals before deadlines; a Fraud Agent screening transactions against a stated 500-plus ML signals; a Recovery Agent that retries failed payments and sends dunning emails; a Reconciliation Agent matching payouts to transactions; a Billing Agent chasing overdue invoices with escalating reminders; an Insights Agent surfacing plain-English revenue and chargeback analysis; and a Support Agent handling routine customer payment questions. A separate conversational AI Assistant lets a merchant send invoices, issue refunds or pull revenue reports by typing a plain-English request rather than navigating a dashboard.
Pricing runs three tiers: Starter at 2.4% plus 30 cents per successful transaction with two-day settlement, a Business tier at 1.9% plus 20 cents with instant settlement and full multi-currency support, and a custom-priced Enterprise tier adding volume discounts and white-labeling. HL Hunt publishes a direct comparison table against Stripe and Square on its site, listing its own starting rate, fraud tooling and AI agent features as more generous than either named competitor's publicly listed offering — a self-authored comparison that, like any vendor-produced competitive table, reflects HL Hunt's own framing of the category rather than an independently audited benchmark.
The company also leans on a "we never shut down your processing account" pledge, framed against what it describes as a common industry practice of legacy processors freezing funds or terminating merchants without warning. HL Hunt states the platform runs on PCI DSS Level 1 infrastructure with a tokenized card vault and 3D Secure 2 authentication, and lists 99.99% uptime as a stated target. As with the competitive comparison table, the never-shutdown claim and the specific fraud-detection and uptime figures are HL Hunt's own published characterizations of its product, not figures verified by an outside auditor or regulator.
