Branch launches white-label Flex earned wage access for banks and credit unions
The API-first service lets financial institutions offer earned wage access inside their own apps while Branch handles funding, compliance and implementation support.

Branch launched a white-label version of its Flex earned wage access product for banks and credit unions on October 14, allowing financial institutions to place earned wage access inside their own mobile applications and brand it as their own service.
Branch says the offering is API-first and handles funding, compliance and integration support for the institution. The company positions the model as a way for a bank or credit union to offer workers access to earned wages before payday without taking the advance onto its own balance sheet or adding a new underwriting process.
The launch is designed for a financial institution that already has a consumer app and wants to add a workplace-finance feature without building the employer, payroll and settlement connections itself. Branch says deployments are designed around a 60-day integration, testing and go-live sprint.
Branch says the service is available in 49 states, excluding Connecticut. Availability, eligibility, employer connectivity and the final customer economics remain important details for institutions evaluating the product, and the company did not publish institution-specific adoption or revenue figures with the announcement.
