Blend Labs said October 12 that a tenth lender had signed on to use Blend Autopilot, its agentic intelligence layer for home lending. The milestone follows the platform's commercial launch three months earlier, according to the company.

Blend said Autopilot is processing more than 3,500 new loans per week and supports work including document and income review, borrower follow-ups and closing quality control. Recent adopters named by the company include Whatcom Educational Credit Union and Gate City Bank.

The product is aimed at the labor-intensive parts of mortgage origination where employees repeatedly collect documents, compare information and chase missing items. Automating those steps can reduce processing time, but lenders still need controls for exceptions, auditability and human review when a file does not fit the system's normal pattern.

The 3,500-loan figure and adoption count are company-reported metrics, not an independent measurement of accuracy, cost savings or borrower outcomes. Blend did not disclose the commercial terms of the lender agreements or a separate revenue contribution from Autopilot in the announcement.
