Anchorage Digital acquires payout platform Routable to add stablecoin settlement
The crypto bank plans to layer stablecoin and tokenized-deposit settlement onto Routable's existing fiat payout rails for enterprise customers over the coming quarters.

Anchorage Digital, the federally chartered crypto bank, announced Tuesday that it has acquired Routable, a payment orchestration platform that automates high-volume payouts for enterprise businesses. Following the deal, Routable will operate as Routable by Anchorage Digital.
Routable's existing business automates fiat payouts — the kind of high-volume vendor, marketplace and contractor disbursements that enterprise finance teams run on a recurring schedule. Anchorage said the acquisition is meant to integrate its own regulated stablecoin and tokenized-deposit infrastructure with those existing fiat payout rails.
The company said Routable will continue supporting fiat payouts as-is for now, with native stablecoin and tokenized-deposit settlement features rolling out on the platform over the coming quarters rather than at closing.
The acquisition fits a pattern among regulated digital-asset firms this year: rather than asking enterprise customers to adopt stablecoin rails as a separate, bespoke integration, acquirers are buying into existing fiat payment infrastructure that already has the enterprise customer relationships, then layering stablecoin settlement on top of workflows that finance teams already use.
Neither company disclosed the purchase price or other financial terms of the transaction. The deal is subject to the standard closing conditions typical of this kind of acquisition, and Anchorage did not provide a specific timeline for when stablecoin settlement features will reach Routable's platform beyond "coming quarters."
